Bro. Xerxes M. Snell
Senior Minister
Xerxes M. Snell is a native of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida where he obeyed the gospel as a young man under the leadership of Dr. W.F. Washington at the New Golden Heights Church of Christ. Brother Snell began preaching in 1992 in Montgomery, Alabama. It was there he served as Youth Minister for the Finley Ave. Church of Christ for 2 years and Assistant Minister for the Cottage Grove Church of Christ in Rockford, Alabama before moving on in the ministry to Panama City, Florida. In Panama City, he received his first full-time ministerial position as Senior Minister with the Glenwood Church of Christ where he served for 5 years. On January 1, 2002, Brother Snell became the Senior Minister of the Ninth Street Church of Christ in Winter Garden, Florida. Under his leadership many souls have been saved and the church was set in order. In 2005, Ninth Street built a new multi-purpose facility and in 2007 a new sanctuary, education, and administration facility. The Ninth Street Church of Christ is a “community sensitive” church with a wholistic (spiritual and humanitarian) approach to ministry. Ninth Street has maintained a consistent presence in the community it serves for over 30 years. Brother Snell has preached across the country on Gospel Meetings, Homecomings, Youth Events, Workshops, as well as Lectureships on state, regional and national levels. He currently serves as Chairman for the Florida State Lectureship and serves on the Steering Committee for the Equip Conference (formerly known as the Spiritual Growth Workshop). Brother Snell’s educational background includes: Broward Christian School; Dekalb Community College and Georgia State University in Atlanta. Brother Snell is very active in the Winter Garden Community. He served as President of the East Winter Garden Community Development Corporation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization from 2004-2017 and he currently serves as a Board Member. He served as the President of the West Orange County Community Task Force; he also served on the following boards: West Orange Ministerial Alliance, the City of Winter Garden Planning and Zoning Board, the West Orange County Community Restorative Board (a program geared towards giving troubled youth a second chance), and the Operations Committee for the Accept Pregnancy Program in Winter Garden. Brother Snell has two gifted sons; Joshua and Jordan (daughter-in-law Antoinette), and four grandchildren who are the joy of his life: Jamyah, Javon, Chase, and Callie.
Elder Robert & Adrinne Birdsong

Elder Robert Birdsong is a native of Winter Garden and was baptized in 1990 at the Ninth Street congregation. Bro. Birdsong has served as the Minister of Benevolence for a number of years and through this ministry of outreach, much good has been done for the community of West Orange County. He has been happily married to his high school sweetheart, the lovely Adrinne Cohen since 1978. They are blessed with two beautiful children, Tamara and Robert II., affectionately known as Robbie. He is a dedicated and devoted family man to his household and extended family.
Elder Alonzo & Nancy Morgan
Elder
Elder Alonzo Morgan, is the eldest son of nine siblings born to Bro. William and Sis. Georgia Morgan. He obeyed the gospel at the age of 12 at Ninth Street Church of Christ under the teaching of Bro. F. L. Thompson. He is still faithfully serving at Ninth Street. He has been married to his lovely wife Nancy for 42 years and she is a constant source of spiritual inspiration in his life. Their three sons, Kenneth, Lonza, and Timothy also obeyed the gospel at an early age. His immediate family also includes his daughter-in-law, Sis. Sophia Morgan and his lovely and challenging granddaughters, Jasmin, Chiann, and Haimerra. He has sat at the feet of many great gospel preachers. He has worked with the youth of the congregation and serves as a song leader. He is the teacher for the Maximum Marriage class as well as the Adult Sunday School class. Elder Morgan shares the preaching responsibilities when Minister Snell is away. He attended the Florida School of Preaching in order to prepare himself for the great work of shepherding God’s people.
